Abstract
Abstract:
There has been substantial interest in mindfulness as an approach to reduce cognitive vulnerability to stress and emotional distress in recent years, and mindfulness meditation practices have been incorporated into several interventions that are now widely available in medical and mental health settings. However, thus far mindfulness has not been defined operationally. Among the important questions that can be studied is whether mindfulness should be described as a multifaceted construct and, if so, how the facets should be defined. Several current descriptions of mindfulness suggest a multidimensional nature. The aim of the present study was to investigate the factor structure and psychometric properties of Five Facet Mindfulness Questionnaire (FFMQ) in Iran. 247 Iranian university student (188 women, 53 men and 6 undefined) filled following scales: FFMQ (Baer, Smith, Hopkins, Krietemeyer, & Toney, 2006), Integrative Self-Knowledge (Ghorbani, Watson, & Hargis, 2008), BSCS(Tangney, Baumeister, & Boone, 2004) , Rumination Scale (Trapnell & Campbell, 1999), Penn State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ; (Meyer, Miller, Metzger, & Borkovec, 1990), Vitality Scale (Ryan & Frederick, 1997), symptom checklist (Bartone 1995), perceived stress(Cohen, Kamarack, & Mermelstein, 1983) & Anxiety and Depression Scale(Costello & Comrey, 1967). The second order CFA showed that five-factor structure of FFMQ in first order and one-factor in second order did not fit the data well and EFA proved five-factor structure in first order and two-factor in second order of the scale that fit the data well. These results point toward conceptual distinction between facets of mindfulness. Mindfulness facets were shown to be differentially correlated in expected ways with several other constructs and to have convergent and divergent validity. Findings suggest that conceptualizing mindfulness as a multifaceted construct is helpful in understanding its components and its relationships with other variables, and suggested a need for reviewing the research and theory of mindfulness due to exposed facets.

Abstract
The present study aimed to investigate the psychometric properties of the Dispositions to Critical Thinking Inventory (DCTI) among a normal sample of Iranian students. The present study is a correlation study. The population of the study consisted all students of Tehran’s universities (Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran University, and Shahed University). 330 students (175 females, 155 males) were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling. At first, the inventory was translated through double translation method and verified by the specialists. To assess construct validity, the exploratory factor analysis as well as internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha) was used. To assess the convergent validity, the correlation coefficients between the DCTI and the California Critical Thinking Disposition Inventory (CCTDI) was used. Finally, in order to assess the reliability of the questionnaire, the test-retest after 2 weeks (N=40) and Cronbach’s coefficients were employed. Results from factor analysis and varimax rotation to determine construct validity showed that this inventory was saturated by three factors, innovativeness, maturity and commitment. To investigate its convergence validity, the results of correlation scores of the dispositions of critical thinking with the California critical thinking skills test score showed that the correlation between the critical thinking skills score and the California critical thinking skills test score was not significant, but it had a significant relationship with the two other factors. Using the internal consistency method, the Cronbach’s alpha for each of the subscales was calculated and following results obtained: 0.61 for innovativeness subscale, 0.38 for maturity, and 0.81 for commitment, which indicates dispositions to the critical thinking subscales had a positive and significant correlation with each other and with the total score of the inventory (r = 0.75). The obtained results of test-retest scores after one-week interval and internal correlation coefficient were calculated as follows: 0.564 for creativity, 0.372 for maturity, and 0.682 for commitment subscales.
According to the results of the present study, the DCTI can be used for educational and research goals in Iranian population.

Abstract
Critical thinking helps people to consider and analyze a wide range of information. The importance of strengthening this skill is significant for managers because it leads to success and the overcoming of crises. The Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal Test, is a tool for measuring critical thinking and has been designed to combine the aspects of skill and tendency for critical thinking. The purpose of this study is to investigate psychometric properties of this test amomg the Iran Gas Transmission Company managers and to evaluate its psychometrics properties using validation and reliability methods as suitable tools for identifying and measuring critical thinking in the Iranian sample, especially among managers. The sample of the present study included 472 staff managers, who participated in the study of "The Development of Psychological Identity of the Managers at the Iran Gas Transmission Company" in 2018-2019, and responded to 80 questions of a computer-based version of the test. The findings of this study showed that the test on our sample society has four dimensions of analytical thinking, evaluation, interpretation, and assumption while its original version has five dimensions. Moreover, an exploratory factor analysis revealed that the two components of inference and inferring had to be merged and this new component was called analytical thinking. In addition, confirmatory factor analysis of the model with the four components was meaningful and desirable in all fit indices of the model. According to the results of this research, the Watson-Glaser Critical Thinking Appraisal Test can be used to achieve research goals.

Abstract
Time is an abstract concept that can be understood by conceptual or cognitive metaphors. A questionnaire based on dataset and qualitative analysis has not been designed in Persian yet to investigate the metaphorical perception of different source domains with various mappings. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to design, make and evaluate the psychometric characteristics of a time perception pattern as a metaphorical questionnaire based on cognitive dataset analysis among Persian speakers. The method of this study was descriptive and psychometric, and it was a survey type of research. For cognitive dataset analysis, a set of 28 contemporary Persian texts were first selected as a targeted sample and then 405 metaphorical expressions of time were extracted in 18 metaphorical mappings. It indicated source domains as object, matter, path and place, which are the most used time source domains. Based on cognitive dataset analysis, 41 questions with a Likert scale were made for the time perception pattern. The questions of this questionnaire were evaluated by 8 cognitive linguists and 2 psychometrics. Then, inappropriate questions were deleted and other questions were corrected or replaced, and at the end of the content, the validity index of the 30 remaining questions were calculated. This questionnaire was completed by 150 Persian speakers (with a bachelor’s degree and above) selected by at-reach sampling. The results showed that there was a reliability coefficient by using Cronbach’s alpha for the whole questionnaire and its components. Moreover, the results of factor analysis indicated that there were three factors of matter, place and object, which explained 37.12 % of the total variance. As a result, the time perception pattern as a metaphorical questionnaire is a valid and reliable instrument in the case of Persian speakers. |

Abstract
In spite of increasing importance of attentional control in conceptualization of psychopathology, there are a few scales to measure it. It is necessary to use valid and reliable scale to study this construct in Iranian studies. This study aimed to provide and investigate psychometric characteristics of Persian version of the attentional style questionnaire. The sample of 426 students were selected by available sampling and completed persian version of the attentional style questionnaire, attentional control (Derryberry &Reed, 2002) and repetitive thinking (Ehring et al, 2011) scales. Construct validity were evaluated through confirmatory factor analysis. Convergent and divergent validity were assessed by pearson correlation. Reliability was calculated using Cronbach s alpha method, test-retest and Composite reliability.factor analysis indicated that two-factor model (congnitive avoidance/distractibility and focusing) provided good model fit. Significant correlations between these factors and attentional control, and repetitive thinking scales confirmed convergent and divergent validity. Cronbach s alfa for both factors were 0/75 and test-retest coefficient for cognitive avoidance/distractibility and focusing were 0/88 and 0/73 respectively also composite reliability were 0/81 and 0/84 respectively. According to the results, Persian version of attentional style questionnaire characterized two factors and has been demonstrated to have acceptable validity and reliability to use in psychological researches in Iranian population.

Abstract
Psychologists have proposed two styles for thinking and processing information. Experiential system, which is automatic and non-verbal; And the Rational system, which is analytical and verbal. The aim of the present study was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Rational- Experiential Inventory; and to find it's relationship with cognitive regulation of emotions. This cross-sectional study was performed by descriptive contextualization method. The statistical population consisted of all students of Islamic Azad and Sama Universities, Roodehen Branch, and 503 individuals were selected randomly via multi- period method and completed the Rational-Experiential Inventory (REI) and Cognitive Regulation of Emotions Questionnaire (Garnefski & Kraaij, 2006). Data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, and correlation coefficient. After analysis, four components were identified: Rational Ability, Rational Engagement, Experiential Ability, Experiential Engagement. The Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.682, 0.823, 0.695, 0.750, and the correlation coefficient in the retest was 0.79, 0.78, 0.73, and 0.76, respectively. In the validity of criterion, rational components had negative correlation with negative strategies of regulation of emotions, and the experiential components had positive correlation with these strategies. The rational- experiential inventory showed proper reliability and convergent validity, In general, Rational people used positive emotion regulation strategies more and negative strategies less. The Rational- Experiential Inventory had adequate reliability and convergent validity. It can be used to improve the teaching, and psychotherapy.
