Abstract

Today, because of living in the machines age and the resulted less mobility and activity of citizens, the diverse and accessible sports for the citizens has become more important. This research which was carried out by qualitative methodology with fundamental-exploratory nature and using the grounded theory is aimed at designing a conceptual model for citizen sports in Tehran metropolitan area. The purposeful-snowball sampling method was used in the research. Accordingly, in order to collect the data, 25 experts of citizen sports were interviewed, and the Strauss and Corbin paradigm analysis was used to develop the final model. Given the results, motivational and health factors were identified as causal conditions, the hardware and software context was identified as the dominant field, the behavioral, structural and environmental level factors were identified as the intervening conditions. Also, promotional, legal, financial, educational, interactive and developmental measures were identified as strategies, and securing national interests, economic consequences, sport development, health-sanitary and socio-cultural outcomes were identified as the strategies implementation results. Given these findings, one can expect that by identifying the citizen sports conditions and concentration on strategic actions, the functional and operational facilities for its development and growth would be provided in Tehran metropolitan area.

Abstract

Focus of cause-related marketing efforts in the sports industry is related to the intangible nature of sport Business and the high degree of fans' willingness to charity programs. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of sport fans' attitude in cause-related sport marketing. Survey of this study was the members of the Supporters' Association of Persepolis's and Esteghlal's clubs. And the questioner is sent them through Social Networks. In this study, simple random sampling was used and since the Statistical Society in this study was unlimited, Cochran formula was used to estimate the sample size. To analyze the data, structural equation method with Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach is used. Based on the results, both fans attitude toward cause-related sport marketing and fans attitude toward sport team has a   positive and significant effect on purchase intention of sport product and re-attention intention. According to the finding, when fans have a positive attitude toward the team and sport charity program, cause/brand fit lead to purchase intention and re-attention intention.

Abstract

The aim of current study was providing a model of the effect of emotional commitment and continued commitment on customers’ going to buy and Support intention. The statistical population was the whole consumers of Enghelab sport complex of Tehran that based on the number of questions of questionnaires (30 questions) 300 samples were selected. With reviewing the literature of the study, the primary research model was designed and based on that, the questionnaire was made and validity of questionnaire was confirmed by some academic experts and factor analysis. For analyzing the data, was used SEM (Structural equation modeling). The results from the model was shown emotional and continued commitment have effects on going to buy and customers’ support intention. Also, the model has goodness and high fitness and shown that the designed relationships of variables had been logical on research theoretical base. Focus on the result, was suggested to make customers commitment, and should be considered to serving customers and suppliers expectations in line with expectations and beyond their expectations that consequently has increased purchase intention and support customers of Enghelab Sports Complex.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of focusing attention on quiet eye behavior and accuracy of execution on dart throwing skills. For this purpose, 20 male students in dart beginner (age range 19-22 years old) were voluntarily selected. All participants performed external and internal attention instructions in a counterbalanced manner. Thus, Participants first made 10 attempts at baseline (without attentive instructions). Then performed a total of 20 training attempts as counterbalance in both external and internal attention strategies. In all trials, visual system information was recorded using an eye tracking device and the radial error formula was used to measure accuracy. Data were analyzed by repeated measure ANOVA (P=0.05). The results showed that the accuracy of throwing was significantly improved in external attention condition compared to baseline and internal conditions (P=0.001). The results also indicate that the quiet eye period was longer in the external focus condition than in the inner attention condition (P=0.001). According to the results of this study, it can be assumed that quiet eye duration is one of the essential mechanisms in execution accuracy of targeting skill in beginners, and that focusing attention in addition to execution accuracy is also effective on quiet eye duration.

Abstract

Massive amount of practice over many years raise the question that handling class of action by generalized motor program may modify over years. The purpose of the present study is to provide evidences to investigate this hypothesis by examining the pattern of co-activation and agonist to antagonist activity ratio. Seven experienced darts players were asked to execute from standard dart distance (fourth distance) and six other farther and nearer distances, making 252 throws. Relatively, the results showed that at least in five from the seven samples, there was a significant difference in muscle co-activation between fourth and six other distances. These findings do not support the existence of a generalized motor program at fourth distance so that performance of elite players met limited generalizability

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of self-control feedback with bandwidth feedback through self-modeling strategies on volleyball service in novice and intermediate learners. For this purpose, two groups of novice and intermediate learners took part in this experiment. Each group practiced volleyball tennis skills in six sessions in two sub-groups of self-control and bandwidth feedback methods through self-modeling strategies. The design involved a pretest, acquisition sessions post-test, retention test and a transfers test. In each session, the self-control feedback sub-group was matched to the number of feedbacks received by bandwidth feedback subgroup; but the self-regulation feedback subgroup has a self-controlled role in when they receive feedback. The results showed that both methods of providing feedback in both groups improved the performance level of the subjects in the post-test, retention test and transfer test significantly (p<0.05).  AlsoThe results showed that the beginners benefited from self-regulation feedback more than bandwidth feedback (p<0.05), while the intermediate benefited equally from self-regulation and bandwidth feedback (p>0.05).It seems that the self-control benefits can also be generalized in self-modeling. Therefore, the use of self-control effect in self-modeling feedback in volleyball tennis service training is suggested to coaches and sports teachers in the beginner and skilled groups.

Abstract

Introduction and Objectives: Mountain sports destinations have great attractions for tourists due to their special natural and physical characteristics, and one of the ways to contribute to sustainable development in these areas is the development of responsible tourism. The aim of the present study was to develop a responsible tourism development model in mountain-based sports destinations.
Methodology: The research method was qualitative, with a Grounded Theory approach and a semi-structured interview as the instrument. The research population included experts in the field of mountain sports tourism, including professors, faculty members, and researchers, and the sampling method was purposive. The validity of the interviews was confirmed by sports tourism experts and the reliability was confirmed by the two-coder agreement method (80 percent). The findings from 19 interviews were analyzed by coding and presenting a model in MAXQDA 2020 software.
Results: The findings showed that the causal conditions included the lack of smooth paths and guide signs, the culture of tourists and the local community, privatization, and security. Background conditions included lack of attention to carrying capacity, inadequate accommodation, catering and transportation infrastructure in these destinations. Intervening conditions included price instability, lack of waste management system and lack of rational policy making. Also, strategies included holding sports events, training and education of specialized human resources, increasing interactions and coordination between related organizations, local community-based planning and outcomes included improving facilities and developing the regional economy, observing the principles of sustainable development and preserving cultural and natural heritage.
Discussion and Conclusion: According to the findings, it is suggested that sports events in mountain destinations should be held with a focus on responsible tourism and local community-based planning should include training and hiring human resources.
