Abstract

The aim of this experiment was to study the effect of computer game on acquisition and retention of free throw basketball skills (accuracy and pattern) and compare this method with two patterning methods (skilled and learning). 50 high school students age range 15-17 years were selected as a research samples. Subjects after participating in the pretest were divided into 5 equal groups and each group practice separately for 2 weeks and 3 sessions per week (total of 6 sessions) their tasks. Acquisition test hold after the last training session and retention test was performed after 24 hours. Data analyzed using variance with repeated measurement. The significance level for all statistical methods was considered p<0/05 and used SPSS 17 for statistical calculations. The results showed that each group at post-test scores on both the accuracy and pattern of pre-test and the most advanced computer game plus exercise group significantly improved. According to the results, this study can state that the the simulation computer game improves learning of motor skills. This method is more effective than learning a skilled and patterning method.

Abstract

In recent decades, sports organizations have paid special attention to the importance of considering the purchase behavior of customers. Meanwhile, the variables that can have an impact on customers' purchase behavior have been considered. This study aimed to determine the causal relationship between relationship marketing and purchase behavior of spectators using structural equation modeling. For this purpose, two questionnaires including Kim’s relationship marketing and purchase behavior questionnaires (2008) were used. After confirming their validity and reliability, these questionnaires were distributed among the sample. Sample was consisted of 430 spectators who participated in Foolade_Shahr Stadium to watch the Sepahan’ games using Morgan table. The research method was statistical -correlational and it was based on the structural equation model. The results of path analysis showed that relationship marketing has an impact on purchase behavior of spectators (β= 0.043, p≤0.05). Considering the findings of this study, approaches can be provided to determine the strategy of relationship marketing and evaluate the impact of this strategy on purchase behavior of spectators- as the main customers of football clubs.

Abstract

A few studies have examined the interactive self-control effect on the type of self-modeling feedback. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of providing different strategies of self-control feedback through self-modeling on learning of Lay-up shot basketball skill. For this purpose, 60 right-handed 11-13 years old male beginner students were selected through available sampling. Then they were divided into 4 groups randomly. One of the groups between the blocks and the other group before training session defined to get the type of self-modeling feedback (best performance or overall performance in Lay-up shot basketball skill). For each of these groups, the yoked group was selected. The training program was conducted for 6 sessions for two weeks. Pretest, retention and transfer test were made in 12 attempts. Results showed significant effect between pretest with retention and transfer tests scores. Also, there was significant difference between the self-control feedback before sessions and the self-control feedback between the blocks groups and their yoked group in the retention and transfer tests (P≤001), While between the yoked groups did not had any significant difference. These results indicate the greater effect of self-control feedback during sessions, which emphasizes the greater autonomy of learners as one of the psychological needs for learning optimization.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the effect of self-control feedback with bandwidth feedback through self-modeling strategies on volleyball service in novice and intermediate learners. For this purpose, two groups of novice and intermediate learners took part in this experiment. Each group practiced volleyball tennis skills in six sessions in two sub-groups of self-control and bandwidth feedback methods through self-modeling strategies. The design involved a pretest, acquisition sessions post-test, retention test and a transfers test. In each session, the self-control feedback sub-group was matched to the number of feedbacks received by bandwidth feedback subgroup; but the self-regulation feedback subgroup has a self-controlled role in when they receive feedback. The results showed that both methods of providing feedback in both groups improved the performance level of the subjects in the post-test, retention test and transfer test significantly (p<0.05).  AlsoThe results showed that the beginners benefited from self-regulation feedback more than bandwidth feedback (p<0.05), while the intermediate benefited equally from self-regulation and bandwidth feedback (p>0.05).It seems that the self-control benefits can also be generalized in self-modeling. Therefore, the use of self-control effect in self-modeling feedback in volleyball tennis service training is suggested to coaches and sports teachers in the beginner and skilled groups.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to measure and model the release of carbon monoxide pollutant in the surrounding space of Azadi Stadium in Tehran during sports competitions. Basic data were obtained by laboratory measurements and inquiries from specialized centers. Modeling was done by Austal View software, Version 7 and under four scenarios. The prediction of pollutant concentration was simulated at a height of 5 meters. The modeling area was considered a circle with a radius of 1 km from the center of the site. The resulting data were compared with national and international standards. The initial concentration of the pollutant in the hot and cold seasons of the year was 1.432 ppm and 2.331 ppm, respectively. The amount of pollutant emission for the state of "completion of parking capacity" and "semi-complete state" was 81.45 and 37.5 kg, respectively. Zoning maps showed that in all four scenarios, the highest amount of emission was in the east direction. The highest amount of carbon monoxide production and emission is related to the first scenario (completion of the parking capacity and the cold season of the year) and the lowest amount of carbon monoxide pollutant emission is under the fourth scenario (failure to complete the parking capacity and in the warm season of the year). Although the condition of this pollutant in Tehran's Azadi sports complex and during sports competitions has not exceeded the standard. By using management and engineering solutions such as: not keeping lights on in place, using exhaust filters, properly designing the parking space and reducing the duration of stopping, it is possible to avoid the production and release of a large part of pollutants.
