چکیده:
این پژوهش با هدف ارزیابی جامع نابرابری‌های محیط زیستی در شهرهای خاورمیانه، از رویکرد مرور نظام‌مند بهره گرفته است. خاورمیانه به دلیل شهرنشینی سریع و توسعه ناپایدار، با چالش‌های پیچیده محیط زیستی مواجه است که به‌طور نامتناسبی بر جمعیت‌های کم‌درآمد و حاشیه‌نشین تأثیر می‌گذارد. در این مطالعه، 60 مقاله علمی منتشر شده بین سال‌های 2013 تا 2023 از پایگاه‌های Scopus، Web of  Science و Google Scholar مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. تحلیل‌های آماری نشان داد که نابرابری‌های محیط زیستی در این منطقه به دلیل ضعف در سیاست‌گذاری‌های هماهنگ و تفاوت‌های فرهنگی-جغرافیایی تشدید شده است. الگوهای زمانی حاکی از افزایش فزاینده این نابرابری‌ها در دهه اخیر بوده، در حالی که تحلیل‌های موضوعی، تأثیرات مخرب بر سلامت عمومی، کیفیت هوا و دسترسی به منابع آبی را آشکار ساخت. بررسی‌های جغرافیایی نشان داد که مناطق خاصی به دلیل شرایط اقلیمی و اقتصادی، آسیب‌پذیری بیشتری در برابر مخاطرات محیط زیستی دارند. این پژوهش با شناسایی شکاف‌های موجود در ادبیات علمی و سیاست‌گذاری‌های فعلی، راهکارهایی برای ارتقای عدالت محیط زیستی و بهبود شرایط در شهرهای خاورمیانه ارائه می‌دهد. نتایج این مطالعه می‌تواند به عنوان مبنایی برای توسعه استراتژی‌های سیاست‌گذاری مؤثر و تحقیقات آتی در زمینه عدالت محیط زیستی در منطقه مورد استفاده قرار گیرد. این پژوهش با ارائه یک چارچوب تحلیلی جامع، به درک عمیق‌تر پویایی‌های نابرابری‌های محیط زیستی در خاورمیانه کمک می‌کند و زمینه را برای مداخلات هدفمند را فراهم می‌سازد.
