The aim of the present study was to investigate the prediction model students' addiction tendencies based on insecure attachment styles with the mediation coping styles. The research method was descriptive and structural equation modeling. The statistical population in this research included undergraduate students of Payam Noor Qom University in 1400, from whom 285 people were selected as a sample using non-probability sampling method. The research tools included the Revised Attachment Styles Questionnaire (Collins and Reed, 1990), Coping Styles Questionnaire (Lazarus and Folkman, 1980) and Addiction Tendency Scale (Wade and Bopper, 1992). The results of the conceptual model test showed that the fit indices of the research model are in a favorable condition. Insecure attachment style and tendency to use drugs had a direct and significant relationship (P≤0.005). Also, insecure attachment style through coping styles had significant indirect effects on students' tendency to use drugs (P≤0.005). The findings of the research indicated the appropriate fit of the conceptual model of the research. Based on this, in addiction treatment clinics, it is necessary to pay attention to attachment styles and coping styles to reduce the level of addiction tendency.

This study was of a descriptive-correlation type and the statistical population included married women of Tabriz city. 321 samples were selected using a convenience sampling method and the link of the questionnaires was provided to them. The tools of this research included: Rees et al.'s self-compassion scale (2011), Abdollahi and Allen's (2022) romantic perfectionism scale (self-centered and other-centered), and Busby et al.'s (1995) marital quality measurement scale. . After entering the data into the computer, the data were analyzed using SPSS26 and PLS3 software using the structural equation modeling method. The results showed that self-compassion has a significant relationship with the quality of married life (P<0.001,β=0.384),on the other hand self-centered romantic perfectionism has a significant relationship with the quality of married life (P<0.001,β=0.361),also other-centered romantic perfectionism has a significant relationship with the quality of married life (P<0.001,β=-0.713). Self-compassion played a moderating role between self-oriented perfectionism and marital life quality, but it did not play a moderating role in relation to other-oriented perfectionism and marital life. According to these findings, the importance of getting to know the dimensions of romantic perfectionism and teaching the skills of self-compassion in pre-marriage and post-marriage counseling, both in preventing the decrease in the quality of marital life and in increasing the quality of marital life, doubles.

Investigating the diagnostic validity of the personality pathology dimensions questionnaire (DAPP-BQ) in couples using the sensitivity coefficient and clarity.

The Personality Pathology Dimensions Assessment Questionnaire (DAPP-BQ) is a self-report tool used to assess the characteristics of personality disorder. However, its diagnostic validity has not been investigated in Iranian samples. The main purpose of this study was to investigate the diagnostic validity of the Personality Pathology Dimensions Questionnaire (DAPP-BQ) in couples using sensitivity coefficient and clarity-orientation. The method of this research, which is in the field of psychometric designs, is a subset of methodological studies. The statistical population of the study consisted of all couples referred to counseling centers in Tehran, of which 240 couples (120 as clinical group and 120 as normative group) were selected using available purposive sampling. In the present study, in order to investigate the diagnostic validity of the mentioned instrument with an emphasis on the cut-off point method, sensitivity coefficient and clarity orientation have been used. The findings showed that the scales of "intimacy disorder" and "low social relationships" from the dimension of "social avoidance", "conduct disorder", "narcissism" and "rejection" from the dimension of "antisocial behavior", "cognitive disorder", "insecure dependence" and "stubbornness and disobedience" from the dimension of "emotional disorder" and "impulsivity" from the dimension of "impulsive behavior" using both methods have diagnostic validity and can distinguish the clinical group from the normative group.

Investigating the mediating role of self-regulation strategies (self-restraint and coherent self-knowledge) in the relationship between attachment styles and the quality of interpersonal relationships

This research was conducted to determine the mediating role of self-regulation strategies (self-restraint and coherent self-knowledge) in the relationship between attachment styles and the quality of interpersonal relationships. The method of the current research was correlation of the structural equation modeling type. The statistical population of this research included all students of Azad universities who were referred to the counseling centers of Azad colleges in Tehran with a major complaint in the field of interpersonal relations in 1402. According to Klein's formula, 400 people were selected through convenience sampling and were asked to complete questionnaires about Ghorbani's Cohesive Self-knowledge (2008), Tanjani's short form of self-regulation (2004), Hazen and Shaver's attachment (1987), and the quality of interpersonal relationships by Pierce (1991). The obtained data were analyzed using SPSS and AMOS software. The results of Pearson correlation and path analysis showed that self-regulation can mediate the relationship between attachment styles and the quality of interpersonal relationships. According to the research results, insecure attachment is associated with a decrease in the quality of interpersonal relationships. Therefore, what helps a person improve the quality of interpersonal relationships is having a suitable intrapsychic capacity, enabling them to return to balance faster and with fewer complications while maintaining the order of their intrapsychic organization. Implicitly, it can be suggested that based on the model of self-regulation, having coherent management of one's inner psychological organization, in cognition, emotion, and behavior, can help a person have optimal tolerance capacity in interpersonal problems.

Structural Relationship Analysis of Treatment Adherence Based on Emotional Awareness in Patients with Psoriasis: The Mediating Role of Perceived Social Support

The aim of the present study was to analyze the structural relationships of treatment adherence based on emotional self-awareness in patients with psoriasis and to examine the mediating role of perceived social support. This research employed a descriptive-correlational design using structural equation modeling. The statistical population included psoriasis patients referred to three specialized dermatology hospitals in Tehran. Convenience sampling was used, and ultimately, 250 psoriasis patients meeting the inclusion and exclusion criteria were enrolled in the study. Various tools were utilized for data collection, including the Treatment Adherence Questionnaire (Ziaei, 2011), the Perceived Social Support Questionnaire (Zimet et al., 1988), and the Emotional Self-Awareness Questionnaire (Reef et al., 2007).The results of the structural equation modeling analysis indicated that emotional self-awareness has a direct and significant effect on treatment adherence in patients with psoriasis. Additionally, perceived social support and concerns about body image also had a direct impact on treatment adherence. Furthermore, the findings revealed that emotional self-awareness indirectly and significantly affects treatment adherence through the mediation of body image concerns and perceived social support. These results highlight the importance of considering psychological and social dimensions, such as emotional self-awareness and social support, in the treatment process of patients with psoriasis, as they can improve treatment adherence and therapeutic outcomes.

The present study aimed to examine differences in self-compassion and emotion regulation between parents of adolescents with ASD and parents of typically developing adolescents to identify their effects on parental mental health. This research employed a causal-comparative design, with a purposive sample of 200 parents (100 parents from each group) selected from clinical centers in Tehran. Data were collected using the Self-Compassion Scale, the Toronto Alexithymia Scale, and the SCL-90 questionnaire to assess mental health. Data analysis was conducted using multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA).The results indicated that parents of adolescents with ASD had significantly lower self-compassion and experienced greater emotion dysregulation compared to parents of typically developing adolescents. Furthermore, these parents exhibited higher levels of psychological distress, including anxiety, depression, and stress. The findings highlight the unique psychological challenges faced by parents of adolescents with ASD and emphasize the necessity of designing effective interventions to enhance self-compassion and emotion regulation. Strengthening these factors may contribute to improved parental mental health and help mitigate difficulties associated with raising children with ASD.
