Abstract
This study investigated attention bias, depression and anxiety in adolescents with Diabetes type 1.Population of the study included all 13 to 20 years old adolescents of the Iranian Diabetics Association. Of these diabetics, 25 subjects were selected as samples of the study and a group of 25 non-diabetic adolescents also participated in the study as the control group. The measurement tools were modified Stroop colour naming task, Spielberger State-Trait Anxiety Inventory and Beck Depression Inventory. When it came to analyzing the data, multivariate analysis of variance was used. The results indicated that the diabetic group had low time reaction in diabetes related words, neutral words, positive and negative words than the control group furthermore, depression and anxiety scores of the selected diabetics were higher than control group

Abstract
This research was conducted to compare the self – definition of the healthy and HIV/AIDS infected bilingual (speaking Farsi and Kurdish) and monolingual (speaking just Farsi) people. Subjects of the study were 60 monolingual (Healthy and Patient) and 60 bilingual (Healthy and Patient) people who were selected through the available sampling method the variables including age, gender and were controlled by the analysis of covariance. Subjects of the study completed the Impact of Event Scale-Revised (IES-R), the Beck depression and Anxiety Inventory ( BDAI), the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale- Revised (WAIS-R) and Twenty Statements Test ( TST). The results revealed that in general self – definition was quantitatively more in healthy group and those who were bilingual the self – definition in healthy group was independent in terms of theme, and in bilingual group was dependent. Moreover, trauma- themed self- definition was more in bilingual than monolingual patients. This preference was discussed based on the personality characteristic and growth of the cognitive processes in healthy and monolingual people. Also different self- definition could be developed due to better memory in healthy and bilingual people.

Abstract
Pathological Internet use, or internet addiction, is an emerging phenomenon that has got substantial attention by the researchers in the recent years. This study investigated the mediating role of metacognitive beliefs in the relationship between the negative emotions and internet addiction among the university students. A sample of 220 university students completed Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale, Metacognitive beliefs Questionnaire, and Internet Addiction Test. When it came to analyzing the data, the hypothesized mediating model was analyzed by the structural equation modeling. All dimensions of metacognitive beliefs were found to be positively and significantly correlated with the Pathological Internet use. Further, Positive and significant correlations were also observed between Pathological Internet use and negative emotions. The results of the structural equation modeling supported the hypothesis that the relationship between negative emotions and Pathological Internet use was mediated by metacognitive beliefs. Results of this study supported the effectiveness of metacognitive theory in Pathological Internet use ,and they could provide better understanding of the Pathological Internet use.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the effect of stress inoculation training on the psychological satisfaction of individuals considering their identity style. Population of the study incorporated female undergraduate students these students’ identity style was determined. Of these students, 67 subjects having normative and diffuse/avoidant identity style were selected through simple random sampling and empirical method, and were put into two groups: experimental and control group. The experimental group received 12 sessions of treatment(90-minute sessions), and the control group received no treatment. To analyze the data, two way multivariate analysis of covariance was used. Results of the analysis revealed that the psychological satisfaction of the experimental group increased significantly in comparison with the experimental group. Furthermore, according to the findings of the study, identity styles had no effect on the psychological satisfaction however, they had significant effect on the efficacy of stress inoculation training. It should be mentioned that these changes(changes related to the psychological satisfaction) were stable. Therefore, it seems necessary to change the system of beliefs and to develop effective, consistent coping strategies in individuals with different identity style and processing strategy.

Abstract
components of Metacognitive beliefs. In a retrospective, cross-sectional, descriptive design, 224 college students, 116 female and 108 male students, in Semnan University were selected through simple random sampling, and completed the Demographical Information Questionnaire, Mental Health Inventory (MHI-38), and Metacognitions Questionnaire(MCQ-30). The data were analyzed through correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results showed that there was a significant negative relationship between positive beliefs about worry, beliefs about Uncontrollability and danger of thoughts, beliefs about the need in controlling the Thoughts, cognitive self-consciousness and psychological well-being. Furthermore, there was a significant positive relationship between the above mentioned variables and psychological distress. Beliefs about the need in controlling the thoughts, beliefs about Uncontrollability and danger of thoughts, and cognitive self-consciousness are capable of predicting psychological well-being in college students they, in total, account for 32% of psychological well-being. Cognitive self-consciousness, beliefs about Uncontrollability and danger of thoughts, and positive beliefs about worry are capable of predicting psychological distress in college students they, in total, account for 36% of psychological distress. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that positive beliefs about worry, beliefs about Uncontrollability and danger of thoughts, beliefs about the need in controlling the thoughts, and cognitive self-consciousness are important factors in decreasing psychological well-being and in increasing psychological distress in college students.

Abstract
This
study was conducted to examine the relationship between meta cognitive beliefs
and female students’ test anxiety coping styles by considering the role of ambivalent attachment. In a correlative study, 202 female students in the third grade of Yazd’s
middle school were selected by random cluster sampling and then completed the
Spielberger Anxiety questionnaire, Meta cognitive Beliefs
Questionnaire and Collins and Raid attachment questionnaire. Pearson's correlation test and regression
analysis were used to analyze the data. The present study showed that there was a positive relationship between
test anxiety and cognitive beliefs, avoidant coping style, emotional-based coping style and ambivalent attachment. Also there was direct and significant relationship between meta cognitive beliefs and
avoidant coping style, issue-oriented
copying style, emotional-based coping style and ambivalent
attachment. Emotional coping styles were also
positively and significantly oriented with ambivalent attachment. Results of the step by step regression analysis
showed that meta cognitive beliefs explained 27% of the variance the test anxiety by
themselves, while the coping style along with meta cognitive
beliefs explained approximately 32% of the variance of test anxiety and if
ambivalent attachment added to meta cognitive beliefs and
coping style, 34% of the variance of test anxiety can be explained
approximately. Due to the effectiveness of the proper use of coping styles in dealing with the test anxiety, the
necessary trainings in this area can prevent
the students from being challenged by the test anxiety which could have many
negative effects on their performance. Also parents as
those having a role in the formation of their children’s attachment should
undergo necessary training.

Abstract
This study investigated the effectiveness of group cognitive behavioral therapy, group logo therapy and the combination of these methods in the increase of social adjustment in maladjustment students. The sample of the study included 60 maladjustment male students in the 2nd district of Rey city who were recognized maladjustment by adjustment inventory of high school students (AISS). Then, they were randomly divided into four groups. All the students completed the social adjustment scale, developed in the University of California, in the pre-test step. The first group underwent group cognitive behavioral therapy, the second group underwent group logo therapy, the third group underwent both group CBT and group logo therapy, and the fourth group (control group) received no intervention. Then, in the post-test step, California’s social adjustment scale was administered in four groups. Changes occurred in the four groups were compared through analysis of variance and post-hoc test. Results of the analysis of variance showed that social adjustment scores increased significantly in the post-test (P<0/001). Results of Tukey’s test indicated that the three treatment methods had an effect in increasing the students’ social adjustment, but the combination of group cognitive behavioral therapy and group logo therapy had better effect than the two separate treatment methods. As a whole, results of this study showed that the combination treatment could increase the social adjustment significantly.

Abstract
The aim of the current study was to investigate and compare the family structure, parental monitoring and affiliation with delinquent peers among the male delinquent and non-delinquent adolescents. It has also considered the interactions between these factors. In this Cross-sectional study, 96 delinquent adolescents and 91 non-delinquent adolescents, chosen through a convenient sampling in Tehran, completed family structure, parental monitoring and affiliation with delinquent peers questionnaires. Data was analyzed using independent sample T-test, Chi square test and Pearson correlation coefficient. Given the results of the independent sample T-test, the two groups were significantly different in terms of parental monitoring and affiliation with delinquent peers. Using Chi square test, the findings revealed that there was a significant difference between the delinquent and non-delinquent adolescents in terms of family structure. Moreover, adolescents in broken families in comparison to the adolescents in intact families reported less monitoring by their parents .The results obtained from the current study were in line with the results of the previous research and showed that distress in family structure, that weak parental monitoring and that affiliation with delinquent peers had a significant role in the delinquency phenomenon. Therefore, it seems necessary to consider these factors as the influential factors promoting delinquency.

Abstract
This study aimed at investigating the relationship between metacognitive beliefs, social anxiety and shyness considering the mediating role of emotion regulation. 700 high school students completed the Stanford Shyness and Social Anxiety questionnaires. According to the extreme scores in the scales, 110 subjects were selected as shy individuals and 46 subjects were selected as individuals with the social anxiety disorder. To distinguish the shy people with/without symptoms of social anxiety, the SPIN were performed on shy sample again and based on the extreme scores, there were 45 subjects with social anxiety symptoms and 60 subjects without social anxiety symptoms. 43 subjects in all three groups completed Emotion Regulation and Metacognitive Beliefs questionnaires. The results showed significant relationship between metacognitive beliefs, emotion regulationstrategies and social anxiety and shyness with/without symptoms of social anxiety. There was a significant relationship between metacognitive beliefs and suppression in social anxiety sample and between metacognitive beliefs and cognitive reappraisal in the shy group with symptoms but there was no significant relationship in shy group without symptoms. Regression analysis showed that some components if metacognitive beliefs including negative beliefs and thought control through suppression could predict the social anxiety better and those components of positive belief and cognitive assurance through cognitive reappraisal could predict the shyness with the symptoms of social anxiety. The results showed that the metacognitive beliefs could predict the shyness without the symptoms of anxiety through the mediation of emotion regulation.

Abstract
The present study was intended to study the effectiveness of Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in the quality of life in the older people suffering from Parkinson disease. The methodology of the study was a semi- experimental with pre- test and post- test design along with a control group selected from the population of old people suffering from Parkinson disease. Sample of the study included 40 individuals who were selected by availability sampling method then they were randomly divided into the experimental and control groups. The experimental group underwent the CBTO treatment for 10 sessions. Research tools of the study included demographic questionnaire and quality of life scale, prepared by WHO, that were administered in two stages, i.e. pre-test and post- test. Research findings showed that cognitive-behavioral therapy had an effect on the quality of life including physical health, psychological health, and social relations, but no significant difference was seen in the dimension of the life environment. Thus, it was concluded that it was necessary to make efforts to enhance the quality of life for the old people suffering from Parkinson disease and that CBTO treatment may cause the improvement of the quality of life in patients with Parkinson disease. Therefore, this method may be employed in the hospitals and asylums as a complementary treatment. Consequently, it is recommended to present cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT) along with other medical interventions as a part of treatment and medical care for the patients suffering from Parkinson disease.

Abstract
The purpose of this research was to study the role of spirituality in coping strategies and the mediating role of family communication in the relationship between the spiritually and copying strategies among the families. In order to examine the mediating role, 375 parents of the students in Kermanshah participated in the study. They were selected through multi cluster sampling method. Measurement tools of the study included Family Communication Scale (FCS), Sanctification of Marriage Scale, Sanctification of Parenting Scale, and Family Crisis Oriented Personal Evaluation Scales (F-COPES). To analyze the data, one way analysis of variance, correlation analysis and simultaneous regression analysis were used. Results showed that the families with high spirituality used the coping strategies including cognitive reframing, spiritual social support, and mobilizing the Family to acquire help more and the Passive Appraisal less than the families with low spirituality. Furthermore, through the mediating role of family communication, spirituality was directly or indirectly in relationship with the copying strategies. Finally, it can be conclude that through having appropriate communication and also through other effective factors the families with high spirituality can effectively cope with the internal and external family tensions.

Abstract
The present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the relationship between the family efficacy and the forgiveness in the family and the spirituality in male and female married individuals. A correlational method was employed and the following tools were used: The Family Assessment Device, The Family Forgiveness Scale and the Spiritual Strengths and Attitudes Scale. The sample included 200 individuals who were chosen on the basis of the availability in the City of Tehran. Results of the statistical analyses showed that there was a significant and positive correlation between the scores on the FAD and forgiveness in the family and spirituality, so that subscales of the FAD such as "overall family", "family roles" and"emotional involvement” accounted for the largest amount of variance in predicting the forgiveness and the overall score on FAD significantly predicted spirituality. It is concluded that forgiveness and spirituality as two important psychological constructs correlate significantly with the efficacy in the family.

Abstract
This study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of motivational interviewing in reducing the of Substance Users’ impulsivity who were under the Methadone Treatment. In a semi-experimental study, 40 methadone users of one of the addiction treatment centers in Yazd city were selected through availability sampling method and were then divided into two experimental and control group of twenty. In both groups two variables, age and economic satisfaction, were under control. In this research Barrat Impulsivity Scale was used to obtain the data. The experimental group underwent seven 90 minute sessions of motivational interviewing. Following the intervention, the two groups completed the above-mentioned scale as the post test. The post test revealed that motivational interviewing had an effect in reducing cognitive, motor impulsivity and non-planning in the subjects of the experimental group. Results of the study showed that motivational interviewing could significantly decrease cognitive, motor impulsivity and non-planning in experimental group in comparison to the control group.

Abstract
This research aimed to study the phenomenological pattern of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. In a cross-sectional study, 255 patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder were selected by Convenience sampling and were evaluated by Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale in terms of symptoms and severity of OCD. Obsessions of contamination, aggressive, compulsions of washing/cleaning and checking had the highest percentage of frequency, and Obsessions of hoarding, sexual and compulsions of counting and hoarding had the lowest percentage of frequency among the thirteen groups of obsessive-compulsive symptoms. Single patients had religious obsession and repetition compulsion more than married patients. Concerns with the dirt and germs and excessive or ritualized hand washing were the most prevalent obsessive-compulsive symptom. Also, some differences were observed between the male and female patients. The obtained results showed that the phenomenological pattern of the obsessive-compulsive symptoms observed in this sample of the Iranian patients with OCD had some similarities and differences with the phenomenological pattern observed in other studies and societies.

Abstract
The aim of the present study was to test the convergence hypothesis with the emotions, the role of positive and the negative emotional experiences in moral judgment based on the moderating role of Behavioral Activation System (BAS) and Behavioral Inhibition System (BIS). First, 600 persons from Kharazmi University were tested using the Carver and White personality questionnaire and after analyzing the data, 60 of them were classified into four groups based on the final scores of the distribution. Then, each personality group (individually) was induced by the positive and negative emotional experiences. After the emotion induction step, they were presented with two personal and impersonal moral stories to respond. The gathered data were analyzed using the mixed variance analysis. Results showed that there was a significant difference between the four groups of subjects based on the emotional aspects in personal and impersonal moral judgment. Furthermore, emotion induction could influence the people’s function in personal and impersonal moral judgment based on the personality dimensions, and positive and negative emotional stimuli could lead to the non- utilitarianism judgment in personal moral stories.

Abstract
The goal of this research was to compare the emotional Schemas and to study the relationship between anxiety, worry and emotional Schema in Patients with Obsessive-Compulsive disorder, Social anxiety disorder and in normal group. The sample of the study included 90 Participants (30 patients with obsessive–Compulsive disorder, 30 patients with social anxiety disorder, and 30 normal subjects). Participants completed Schemas Scale Leahy (LESS), Pennsylvania State Worry Questionnaire (PSWQ), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Depression Inventory (BDI) and the General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28). People with social anxiety disorder and obsessive–compulsive disorder had significant difference compared to the normal group in the schemas of the comprehensibility, control, consensus, guilt and rumination. However, in the schema of guilt those with obsessive-compulsive disorder were significantly different from those afflicted with social anxiety disorder. Some aspects of emotional schemas in patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder and social anxiety were different from the normal group and the anxiety and worry were associated with some aspects of the emotional schemas.

Abstract
The aim of present study investigated the mediating role of positive and negative affect in the relationship between systems of brain/behavioral and alexitimiya. 277 students (121 males and 156 females) was selected from Kharazmi University through multistage cluster sampling and completed Jackson,s five factor, Positive and Negative Affect (PANAS), Alexithimiya questionnaires. Data were analyzed using multiple regression. The results showed the behavioral activation/inhibition system positively can predict Alexithymia. Also the positive and negative affect play a mediating role in the relationship between systems and alexithymia. The model obtained is appropriate for explaining alexithymia.

Abstract
Cancer is the second leading cause of death in children. It has clinical issue and spiritual crisis. Family is one of the care team who facing with these challenges. This study was done to explore the experiences of parent by children with cancer who facing by this challenge. This study is a phenomenology study with applying content analysis method. 21 participants were interviewed in the Mahak hospital for three months. The obtained data were constantly analyzed through content analysis method. The obtained data were constantly analyzed through content analysis method. Data analysis showed that “philosophy questions, faith and hope, Relationship with nature and play, Love and social support, Express fear and anxiety, and aggression, coping mechanism, hope to future was the main theme or core category of this study. Using a qualitative approach for exploring the experiences of parents with children cancer helped recognize them more profoundly. On the other hand, “philosophy questions, faith and hope and social support” as the theme shows the importance of attention to parents’ problems. So it needs that training should be conducted to empower parents who care children with cancer.

Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate the mediating role of five factors personality in regulating of relationship between perceived and objective stress and anxiety, depression, and physical symptoms . 390 bank managers responded five factors personality ( NEO ) , perceived stress , objective stress , anxiety and depression scals and symptoms check list . The results showed the interaction between Neurotism , Extraversion , conscientiousness mediated the relationship of perceived stress with anxiety, depression and physical symptoms . Objective stress influenced by perceived stress that emphasized on importance of subjectivity of stress. Findings showed simultaneous interaction these factors (low Neurotism , high Extraversion , high conscientiousness ) leads to a reduction in the effects of stress .

Abstract
Given the high prevalence of social anxiety and its importance in people under 18 year, The main objective of this study was to investigate the role of alexithymia mediated into the relationship between maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and social anxiety. In this study, 180 high school female students who were selected using Multi stage cluster sampling, formed the research sample. Participants completed a questionnaire Connor social anxiety(Spin), cognitive emotion regulation questionnaire and Toronto-20 Alexithymia Scale. The results showed that adaptive and maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, Respectively, had positive and negative correlations with social anxiety. Alexithymia had also positively correlated with social anxiety. Results of regression analysis showed that alexithymia can be have a mediator role in relationship between maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies and social anxiety. According to the results, it appears that maladaptive cognitive emotion regulation strategies, mediated by alexithymia, can better predict the social anxiety.
