صادرات مبتنی بر فناوری¬های نوین همیشه به عنوان یک مزیت رقابتی مطرح بوده است و حاکی از پویایی و انسجام اقتصادی کشور و جایگاه ویژه آن در بازارهای جهانی است. کمبود نوآوری یکی از عوامل اصلی موثر بر صادرات با فناوری برتر در کشورها است و تا زمانی¬که نوآوری و آموزش¬های استفاده از علوم و دانش ارتقا نیابد، بازدهی و کارایی سایر عوامل تولید در سطح نازل باقی می¬ماند. از اینرو، هدف این مطالعه بررسی تاثیر نوآوری بر صادرات مبتنی بر فناوری برتر در کشورهای منتخب درحال¬توسعه و توسعه¬یافته طی دوره زمانی 2013-2007 با رهیافت داده های تابلویی و با روش تخمینی معادلات همزمان است. برآورد مدل عمومی بیان می¬دارد در کشورهای درحال توسعه، ضریب شاخص جهانی نوآوری و انباشت جریان ورودی سرمایه¬گذاری مستقیم خارجی و تولید ناخالص داخلی، مثبت و معنادار و ضریب شاخص حکمرانی، مثبت و بی¬معنا است و در کشورهای توسعه¬یافته، ضرایب متغیرهای شاخص جهانی نوآوری، انباشت جریان ورودی سرمایه¬گذاری مستقیم خارجی، تولید ناخالص داخلی و شاخص حکمرانی، مثبت و معنادار است. لذا به¬منظور بهبود محیط نوآورانه لازم است در سیاست¬گذاری¬ها از رویکرد اقتصاد منابع¬محور به اقتصاد دانش¬محور از طریق همسوسازی بیشتر سیاست¬های کلان اقتصادی با سیاست¬های علمی- آموزشی و پژوهشی به¬منظور تقویت ارتباط صنعت و دانشگاه و منطبق بر نیاز حال حاضر تولیدات صنایع مبتنی بر دانش و فناوری تغییر ایجاد شود.
