Abstract

Today, the accelerating trend of urbanization, the lack of guidance and urban management, national and regional inequalities, and differences in the socio-economic base of individuals have led to the growth and expansion of informal housing. Due to this situation, informal housing has been expanding in Tehran's metropolitan area. The present study seeks to find key factors affecting informal housing in the study area and also to determine the relationships between criteria through structural-interpretive modeling (ISM). Are; Which is applied in terms of the nature of the application and in terms of the combined method (quantitative and qualitative) and in terms of the inductive research approach In this method, a questionnaire tool was used and in order to analyze the relationships and present their structural model, the interpretive structural modeling method was used, The results of MICMAC analysis and the classification of key factors in the four matrix clusters It shows that the factors of economic growth, redistributive policies, decentralization and transfer of authority, regional equilibrium policies, revision of development and sanctions laws and regulations and its effects are in the fourth cluster, which are in fact variables of research. In fact, key variables are research, and the only factor in housing policies is the cluster of link variables, which will guide other factors, and change will affect the entire system.

Abstract

Extratropical cyclones according to the frequency, duration, and intensity, the major cause of mid-and high-latitude precipitation across the Mediterranean during winter and autumn. For this research using network data of ECMWF climatic variables with 6-hour time resolution and 0.25 × 0.25 spatial resolution from1979-2016 and were used of 4 Basin stations precipitation data from the Asfezari database from 1979-2016. The results showed that the first pattern is the Mediterranean trough pattern which has the highest frequency of 42%. In this pattern, the low-level due to the presence of a high-level that acts as a barrier have caused the deepening of the Mediterranean low-level and its axis extends to the Red Sea, and due to the collision of low-level and high-level on the region, instability is intensified and has caused the most rainfall among the patterns.  In contrast to the first pattern, The fourth pattern has the lowest frequency of 10% Which is the trough pattern of western winds which is located on the Caspian Sea but due to high-level in the south of the region has prevented the entry of low-level and is located in the northern part of the study area due to this, the isobar in the north of the region have become orbital as a result, fewer cyclones enter the area, resulting in less rainfall between patterns. The results also showed that the frequency of cold-core cyclones was 60% in winter and 40% in autumn, but the frequency of hot core cyclones was 62% in winter and 38% in autumn, which in winter, the frequency of hot core cyclones has increased compared to cold-core cyclones, while in the fall the frequency of hot-core cyclones has decreased compared to cold-core. In the last decade, both the frequency of occurrence of cyclones and their intensity has decreased compared to the last two decades. In terms of cyclogenesis places, the western part of the study area has always been active, And with the onset of the cold season from autumn to winter, cyclogeneses places are gradually becoming more active.

Abstract

The aim of the current research is to show the potential areas for autumn sugar beet cultivation in Golestan province according to temperature and precipitation parameters. For this purpose, temperature (daily) and precipitation (annual) statistics were used for a statistical period of 15 years (2006-2020). In order to analyze the data, the methods of thermal potential diagrams, deviation from optimal conditions, phenology and zoning of Golestan province in terms of the amount of irrigation during growth were used from the annual rainfall data. The results of temperature evaluation using the thermal potential method based on the thermal threshold showed zero, 4 and 10 degrees Celsius at the level of stations in Golestan province; Inche Brun station has the highest cumulative thermal unit and Aliabad Katul station has the lowest cumulative thermal unit. Examining the date of the probability of late spring frost at the level of 95% showed that due to its occurrence at the end of April in the center, east, north, northeast and west of Golestan province, it coincides with the phenological stage of root bulking and sugar accumulation. Also, based on the deviation from the optimal conditions in Golestan province, Inche Brun station was calculated to have the lowest deviation (-20.64). Also, in terms of phenology, in the stage of budding, six leaves, root bulking and sugar accumulation and full ripening of the autumn sugar beet plant in Golestan province, the favorable areas for autumn sugar beet cultivation in Golestan province were determined, including Gonbadkavus, Bandar Turkman, Kalaleh, Inche Brun and Bandar Gaz. Also, the evaluations in terms of rainfall according to the annual rainfall zoning map of Golestan province, it can be concluded that in terms of rainfall and water supply required for autumn sugar beet, there is not much limitation towards Golestan province, however, considering the recent multi-year droughts, the cultivation of this plant in the province needs additional irrigation for growth.

Abstract

Many sports consumers are concerned about environmental issues and have expressed interest in buying green products. However, the actual sale of green products is still not as expected. For this reason, the purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of environmental factors (attitude, concern and sense of environmental responsibility) on the purchase intention of environmentally friendly sports consumers. The present survey study collected information from 384 Iranian students using a seven-point Likert electronic questionnaire with 27 questions. The samples were selected using simple random sampling method. A total of 390 questionnaires were returned, of which 384 were approved. To analyze the data, PLS software was used for the reliability and validity of the model and to test the hypotheses of the structural model. The results showed that environmental attitude is an important driver of consumers' green purchasing behavior. Also, a statistically significant relationship between environmental responsibility and green purchasing behavior was obtained. But there was no statistically significant relationship between environmental concerns and green purchasing behavior. In addition, the relationship between individual green values with environmental attitude, environmental concerns, environmental responsibility and green purchasing behavior was statistically insignificant. For this purpose, companies can create a suitable image of environmental responsibility for their products in the minds of customers through appropriate strategies in the branding of their products, which makes them benefit from the support of customers who want to buy environmentally friendly products.

Abstract

In this research, the most important synoptic patterns of widespread snowfall in the eastern half of Iran have been investigated. For this purpose, the current weather code data and snow depth of synoptic stations in the eastern half of the country during the statistical period of 1371-1400, for the months of October to March, were received from the country's meteorological organization. In order to investigate widespread snowfall, the days when more than 70% of the studied area saw snowfall at the same time were extracted as a widespread day. In order to perform synoptic-dynamic analysis of widespread snowfall in the eastern half of Iran, the classification method using cluster analysis was used and the maps of the representative days including atmospheric temperature, moisture flux, geopotential height, vorticity, front formation, jet stream, omega index and orbital and meridian wind data were drawn. Trend analysis was also performed using the Mann-Kendall test. The results showed that 3 patterns justify the snow cover in the studied area. These patterns are: high pressure in Siberia and central Europe-low pressure in eastern Iran, high pressure in western Iran-low pressure in Sudan, high pressure in central Europe-low pressure in eastern Iran and Afghanistan. In all the patterns in the middle of the atmosphere, the intensification of the meridian currents of the western winds along with the formation of high pressure and low-pressure centers has caused blocking in the path of the western currents and has provided the conditions for the ascent of the air. The concentration of the negative omega field and the relative positive advection, along with the location of the northeastern region of Iran in the left half of the outlet of the Subtropical Jet, have caused severe instabilities and widespread snowfall in the region. Also, the results showed that despite the absence of a trend in the number of snow days in the northeast of Iran, the number of snow days has decreased over time.

Abstract

Social capital including values such as trust and cooperation and solidarity in a residential zone is a concept that has been very important and critical in the process of urban renewal in recent decades. The aim of the present study was to measure the degree of social capital and to investigate the relationship between social capital and physical interference pattern and continued motivation of residence. And it also tries to identify the type and extent of the relationship between social capital with the increased participation and the rate of the implementation of urban renewal projects, on the other hand. The present study is a survey –based research. It is descriptive - analytical. The conceptual questionnaire was used as an instrument in this study. Formulation of theoretical foundation was based on library resources. The population of the present study consisted of all the inhabitants living in Zanjan old texture (family heads) that was 46150. Using multi-stage random sampling was used and 330 samples were selected using Cochran formula. The results showed that the Zanjan old texture residents have the social capital above average; nearly it was true in all of its components. Also significance relationship does not exist between social capital and the renewal of old urban texture. Due to various factors including lack of trust in the body of urban management, lack of reinforcing the planning of required effective variables, residents are uncertain and in doubt on the issue of renewal and improvement of urban old texture. So, it emphasizes on the importance of planning in this area.

Abstract

This study is aimed at estimating monthly mean air temperature (Ta) using the MODIS Land Surface Temperature (LST), Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), latitude, altitude, slope gradient and land use data during 2001-2015. The results showed that despite some spatial similarities between annual spatial patterns of Ta and LST, their variations are significantly different, so that the Ta variation coefficient is four times the one of the LST. Our analysis indicated that while in winter latitude is the key factor in explaining the distribution of the differences LST-Ta, in other seasons the role of slope and vegetation become more prominent. After obtaining the spatial patterns of LST and Ta, we estimated Ta using regression models in spatial resolution of 0.125˚. The lowest estimation error was found in the months of November and December with a high explanatory coefficient (R2) of 70% and a standard error of 1 ° C.  On the other hand, the maximum error was obtained from May to August with R2 between 59 to 63% and a standard error of 1.6 ° C which is significant at the 0.05 level. In addition, result of evaluation of individual months showed that estimation of Ta is more accurate at the cold months of the year (November, December, January, February, and March). With considering different land uses, the highest R2 was related to waters and urban areas (96 to 99%) in warm months, and the lowest R2 was for mixed forest and grassland (between 15 and 36%) in cold months.

Abstract

The phenomenon of evapotranspiration causes water and moisture losses from water, soil and vegetation levels. Due to the small amount of atmospheric precipitation and water resource constraints in Iran, it is important to calculate it through a suitable method. The present research attempts to evaluate the evapotranspiration reference crop (ETo) and present it in the form of zoning map as a basic tool for water management. In this study, the long-term average of seven meteorological stations and evaporation pan data were used to determine the appropriate ETo estimation method. Evapotranspiration of reference crop was calculated to 14 methods the based on climatic information in each station. Computational methods including combinational methods Penman-based, radiation-temperature method, temperature method and radiation method. The most appropriate computational method was selected based on the R2 and Nash -Sutcliffe statistics. The zoning of evapotranspiration of reference crop was carried out based on the geographic information of the meteorological stations and the GIS software. The results of the research indicate that the best method for this region as the cold and moderate climate are FAO radiation and Blaney-Criddle. Also, the zoning result shows that west of the catchment has less evapotranspiration rather than its east. Sunshine hours, maximum temperature and wind speed were the most effective factors for evapotranspiration in this area by sensitivity analysis.

Abstract

The horizontal and urban growth of the past few generations, due to the dominance of the centralized planning system in the country, has led, in accordance with the principle of village-to-city interconversions, that many villages located around cities have undergone numerous changes and changes in the indicator status Of development. These changes, in addition to having positive aspects in most cases, have had a negative impact on the sustainable development of rural areas located in the vicinity of these cities. In the current applied research, a quantitative and qualitative approach with a spatial and descriptive-analytic approach has been carried out. The main objective of this research is to identify the consequences of the Marivan Creep phenomenon on the changes in the development status of the surrounding villages, Over the last few decades, physical development has been speeding up. Data gathering in the theoretical part of the documentary and in the field was conducted by a survey method based on an interview with the local people and the locals to identify the outcomes, and then the classical distribution of the questionnaire among the studied villages and simple random among 203 households supervised by The Cochran formula was determined by volume, 30 from local development experts and observers of the status quo, in order to generalize the findings from the interviews. The results of analyzing the data with the fundamental theory of the technique in the qualitative section and the single-sample t-test in the quantitative section showed that the urban creep phenomenon, in addition to limited positive consequences in improving the physical condition, caused social deficiencies, failure Economic problems, inadequate visual quality, natural environment degradation and institutional management failures in the development of villages studied.

Abstract

The ‘Smart mobility’ has become an increasingly prevalent discussion topic in the past few years, not just in academic literature but also in cities’ policy and strategy. However,in many cities of the world and in our country, Iran has been associated with problems such as lack of citizen participation and inequality (caused by inefficient urban management). The present study has attempted with an innovative perspective to evaluate the existing infrastructure of mobility indicators (including transport infrastructure, public transport, sustainable transport, ICT) and the social dimensions of these infrastructures including the extent of citizen participation in use. Of these infrastructures) in eleven districts of Shiraz. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on documentary and origin studies. Data gathering was field study by using a questionnaire. The 5-degree Likert spectrum technique was used to measure the value of indicators of the Smart Mobility. The results show that average smart mobility was higher in regions 1 and 6 than in other regions. the average smart mobility indicators are in 11 and 9 the lowest in other regions. The Urban Smart Mobility variable does not have an appropriate position in Shiraz, and this has not only affected its development process in recent decades, but also poses many challenges for its future development. Accordingly, urban planners should Consider the citizen participation and efficient urban management.

Abstract

Urban development and air pollution are among the most important issues related to climate. The expansion of urbanization and urban development, population growth, industrial development and excessive use of fossil fuels significantly increased air pollution and it is more than the capacity of the environment. In our country, the emissions of air pollutants in some metropolitan areas have reached a dangerous level, Mashhad is considered to be the most polluted cities of the country in some days of the year. Nitrogen dioxide is one of the indicators of air pollution. In this study, the OMI data and atmospheric parameters such as wind, surface temperature, and horizontal visibility data for the period from 2004 to May 2016 were used to investigate the air pollution in Mashhad. The results show that the maximum (minimum) nitrogen dioxide levels occur in the cold (hot) season. The highest amount of nitrogen dioxide in January is equal to 5.56 × 1015  molec/cmand its lowest value in September is 4.18 × 1015  molec/cm2. Standard deviation of nitrogen dioxide also indicates that the greatest changes occur in cold seasons. Also, the results showed that the dominant wind in the city of Mashhad is from the south, and most of the winds are slow. Correlation coefficient of nitrogen dioxide with wind and surface temperature is -0.36 and -0.57, respectively, which shows the higher importance of temperature in nitrogen dioxide changes in Mashhad city. The correlation coefficient of nitrogen dioxide with horizontal visibility is -0.15, which indicates that with increasing nitrogen dioxide contamination, horizontal visibility decreases. Spectral analysis of least squares of the six and twelve-month periods of rotation was observed, they were also statistically significant. After eliminating the significant components of the time series of the average monthly nitrogen dioxide, the trend was calculated. The amount of nitrogen dioxide in each year for Mashhad was 2.41 × 1013  molec/cm2.

Abstract

Despite Iran's capabilities in the field of tourism, unfortunately, it has not been able to achieve a worthy position in this industry. One of the factors that can develop and improve the country's tourism industry is the use of effective marketing tools and parameters, including introverted marketing. This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. The statistical population of the study consisted of incoming tourists to hotels and restaurants active in the city of Rasht who were active in social networks. The sample size was estimated to be 384 using the Cochran's formula. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire whose validity was confirmed as qualitative and quantitative validity and its reliability was confirmed using Cronbach's alpha method and combined reliability. In this study, in order to analyze the research data from the software SPSS and Amose were used. The findings of this study showed that the components of social construction, social listening and online content of introverted marketing have a positive and significant effect on the intention of electronic advertising. The results of this study also showed that the components of introverted marketing, ie social construction, social listening and online content have a positive and significant effect on the selection of tourism destinations. Other results of this study can be the positive and significant effect of advertising intentions on the choice of tourism destinations and also the mediating role of this variable in the relationship between the components of introverted marketing with the selection of tourism destinations.

Abstract

Many factors, including cultural factors, currents and schools of thought, and patterns of urbanization in the world are influential in the physical structure of a city. The physical structure of the city is the result of all the forces that give rise to the formation and formation of a settlement and has an objective and mental appearance. The growth and development of cities, due to various events in all historical periods, has been declining and rising. Nowadays, knowledge of the physical structure of the city and the reasons that govern its spatial expansion in different periods is necessary to control its expansion and is one of the important factors influencing the success of urban planners and designers. This study was written with the aim of identifying and prioritizing cultural factors affecting the physical structure of the city with emphasis on indigenous architecture. The present research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in terms of method. Library and field methods were used to collect information. The statistical population of the study consisted of experts and specialists in architecture and urban planning, with a sample size of 30 people. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, the fuzzy Delphi technique and the BMW model were used. The results of fuzzy Delphi technique confirmed the identified factors and sub-factors. The results of the BMW model showed that among the identified factors, the privacy factor with a final score of 0.298 in the first place, the security quality factor with a final score of 0.273 in the second place, the nature connection factor and social interactions with a final score of 220 / 0 is in the third place and the hierarchical factor is in the fourth place with a final score of 0.209.

Abstract

This paper focuses on convergence with the measures and activities of the global assemblies in order to promote the resilience of cities against earthquakes and to pay attention to their physical- skeletal development process, to analyze the resilience of the city of Zanjan and to design scenarios against the earthquake hazard.   The criteria used in order of priority and importance include: type of structure, building quality, building life, number of floors, occupancy level, enclosure coefficient, building density, grading, distance from the fault, number of units in the building, user adaptability, slope and facade Building, Which are applied in the three earthquake resilience scenarios after analytical hierarchy analysis (AHP) based on (relation No. 1).
According to the maps drawn from the scenarios, the resiliency rate in the central and southern parts of the city was weak and very weak and as far as we move north, west, and east, we increase the amount of physical resilience of the area. However, no resonance images in the scenario maps show any area with a very resilient domain. As in Ramallah scenarios 7 and 8, the resilience is in a non-resilient and very weak domain. The analysis shows that, according to the maps in any of the areas, there is no stability in the resilience That is, no area in the assessment of all criteria is resilient.

Abstract

Our country Iran is not far from the global changes of cities. One of these changes is the smart mobility that is Undeniable and inevitablein urban management today. Especially in metropolises, which are facing increasing population and various economic, social and environmental problems. In fact, metropolises always have many problems, most importantly transportation. Shiraz, as one of the major cities and one of the major cities of the country, has a special place. This position is of different cultural, historical, political and other aspects. Its population growth rate has also been steadily increasing due to its location. This trend of population growth over the past few decades has created problems and obstacles for sustainable and desirable management, most notably problems in the transportation sector. The same trend illustrates the need to emphasize smart systems in this city. Therefore, in this study, it is attempted to investigate and analyze Smart Urban Mobility and Social Sustainability for Shiraz. The research method is descriptive-analytical and based on documentary and origin studies. The results show that the mobility and displacement variables are in poor condition based on different dimensions of access, sustainable transport as well as ICT. Different indices of each of these dimensions point to the same issue, as its level of evaluation (significance level less than 0.05 and average lower than the criterion) points to their undesirability from the point of view  citizens. The study of the impact of smart mobility indicators on Social Sustainability also shows that smart mobility indicators account for 23% of the total variance of Social Sustainability. On this basis, it should be noted that the mobility variable does not have an appropriate position in Shiraz, and this has not only affected its development process in recent decades, but also poses many challenges for its future development. The growing trend of the population and on the other hand the various social and cultural features as well as tourism are evolving in such a way that it requires a major focus on a systematic transportation based on smart city approach.

Abstract

Interactions and sometimes contradictions in economic and cultural priorities which happen due to social transformations, changes in paradigms and changes in economic – political systems led to changes in urban regeneration concept. The role of culture in urban regeneration had significant changes comparing to other factors; and the cultural focuses became the main approach in urban regeneration in recent decades. The quality of built environment and level of residents’ satisfaction plays an important role in regeneration policies of target areas as well. This study investigates the impact of environment quality variables (environmental, physical, economic and social) on level of residents’ satisfaction in cultural neighborhoods of Kerman, with the goal of improving the regeneration process. The method of this research is applied-developmental in terms of the aim, and descriptive and causal comparative in terms of the nature. This study uses questionnaire as a tool for collecting data. The study sample size is 513 and the data were analyzed by SPSS and AMOS softwares. The results demonstrate a significant direct relationship between economic and physical variables as well as social variables and consequently the same relationship between economic and the sense of satisfaction. The results also indicate a significant inverse relationship between environmental variables, which are effective on sense of satisfaction, and economic variables. The results of structural equation modeling (SEM) show that improvement in the condition of economic, physical and environmental variables, will improve condition of social variables and the sense of satisfaction in the studied neighborhoods. Furthermore, analysis showed that economic variables have more effect on social variables and eventually on the sense of satisfaction as compared to physical and environmental variables. Therefore, the negative effects of each four aforementioned factors could be decreased in the studied neighborhood through planning and application of culture-led regeneration policies. Accordingly the increase in the sense of satisfaction would improve the revitalization and sustainability in these neighborhoods.

Abstract

One of the most important and urgent issues of urban planning is the equitable distribution of facilities, services and accessibility of citizens at the urban level. Economic and commercial centers, including banks and financial institutions, are one of the most important economic sectors of cities and can be sustained. Social, economic, physical, and environmental impacts of neighborhoods. The purpose of this study was to investigate the extent of citizenschr('39') access to commercial land use in Ardebil neighborhoods. Therefore, the present study is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive-analytical in nature. The statistical population of the study is 44 localities of Ardabil city. Spatial statistics models, Hot Spot Analysis, and GIS software were used for data analysis. Finally, regression function in Idrisi Selva software was used to analyze the correlation between commercial user and population as well as to determine the relationship and correlation of this user with other service users. The results show that in Ardabil neighborhoods there is inequality in terms of overall business use. As a result, the neighborhoods have high commercial use weights and high concentrations of hot spots in optimum condition, including areas 3 and 5 from zone 2, zone 7 from zone 1 and zone 6 from zone 3. Also, commercial low weight blocks and low concentrations of hot spots, which include areas 8 and 11 from zone 2, area 11 from zone 3, are lower in urban sustainability. Finally, based on the results of the research, some suggestions have been made.
