Abstract

Today, with the expansion of urbanization and the increase in the population of cities, urban poverty is one of the important problems that it seems necessary to fight. In the 21st century, one of the indicators of urban progress is the issue of low urban poverty (Lemanski and Marx, 2015). In order to analyze and evaluate the indicators of urban poverty in Rasht city in different blocks and to cluster social poverty in this city (very poor, poor, average, wealthy, very wealthy), to analyze social poverty and extract spatial hot spots from Arc software. Gis was used. And the extraction of different areas of the city was calculated from the R software and by the multi-indicator Prometheus decision-making method, where the weight of the indicators was obtained by the ANP method from the raw data of the statistical blocks of Rasht city in the census of 2015. The findings of the research showed that comparatively, the central parts of the city are covered by medium blocks, and in the outer and peripheral parts of the city center, two hot spot areas are observed, which contain very prosperous blocks. Cold spots are also clearly visible on the outer edge of the city and they cover very poor and poor blocks, and except for the hot and cold spots, the city is mostly in the form of mild spots and most of the blocks are in poor condition. They are placed in average social poverty. Also, based on the findings of the research, most of the deprived areas in terms of social poverty in Rasht city are located in the north-west and north-east parts of the city.

Abstract

Cities are open systems that constantly change and bring about changes in inside and outside neighboring areas. With the rapid growth of urban population in the world, cities sprawl and occupy surrounding lands. In this situation, attention to the developments inside urban space could be a key principle in urban planning. The aim of this study was determining and prioritizing economic, social and ecological factors which influence inside urban space indicators in City of Gorgan using Delphi method and literature review. Following the increase in population, developments inside urban space in the future is inevitable. Understanding and recognition of this process is essential to effective management in the field of conservation of the urban environment. Four expertize requirements should be taken into account: knowledge and experience of the field of study; ability and willingness to participate; adequate time to participate; and effective communication skills. Experts’ panel included fifteen specialists from municipality, city council, academics, cultural and medical service providers, police, urban planners and citizens, whose points of view were collected using questionnaires. Data collection for questionnaire was repeated 4 times to reach a consensus. Overall, twenty - four factors were identified for the economic, social and ecological factors, and then the degree and percentage of importance for each one was determined. Results showed that the most important indicator is feeling of security followed by the noise pollution and environmental pollution. Results could be helpful to urban planners and related organizations to improve inside urban space for welfare and life quality of citizens. Prioritization of these indicators provides an appropriate action agenda for the managers.

Abstract

The present study investigated the impacts of NAO and ENSO on the precipitation in the southern shores of Caspian Sea. The accumulated monthly and annual rainfalls from 5 synoptic stations during the years (1956-2017) were taken through Islamic Republic of Iran Meteorology Organization (IRIMO) and the Multivariate Enso Indices (MEI) and NAO activity years are obtained from National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration. Pearson correlation was used to investigate the relationship between indices and precipitation amounts of selected stations. The results showed that there was a significant relationship between precipitation and NAO index in some months in all stations but this correlation was not following a particular pattern in all the stations. The maximum correlations were observed at Babolsar and   Anzali station and the least correlation was found at  Gorgan stations. The correlation between precipitation and different phases of NAO showed that there was a positive correlation between precipitation and negative phase of the index in Ramsar station and a negative correlation between precipitation and positive phase in the Gorgan station. The results of the Pearson correlation show a significant correlation between the MEI and rainfall amounts in the autumn in some stations in the early winter. In Review drought and wet periods with both Indicator it was observed that the behavior of the stations in the El Niño period, which was with different phases of the NAO was not entirely harmonious but the coefficient of 89% of rainfall in normal and more than normal during the period of El Niño showed that Elnino is better fitted to normal and more than normal rainfall in these stations also coefficient of 60%  of weak to severe droughts in the Lanina period in the selected stations Indicates that the LaNina phase was more related with severe droughts in the under studied period.

Abstract

The continuous and active presence of disciplinary centers has an important role in ensuring security and peace in cities. Therefore the fair and efficient distribution of law enforcement centers in urban areas is an important factor in meeting this basic need. Therefore, the present study aims to investigate the service of police stations on vulnerable areas of Urmia. The descriptive-analytical research method used in this study is applied. The results of the study show that the vulnerability zoning of the city of Urmia is in four categories from very high to very low. About 68 km2 of the whole area of the city is known to be highly vulnerable. Most of the northern (informal settlements of Region 2) and central (old districts of four region) settlements of Urmia are the most vulnerable areas due to the high density of population and housing, with most of the politically sensitive, commercial and administrative offices in these areas. The results of the network analysis based on standard time (12 minutes) indicate that the 28.9% (24 km2) of the Urmia Vulnerable Areas was not covered by the police stations.Within 12 minutes the police stations of Urmia city have quick access to 55 km2 of about 75 km2 area with high vulnerability and about 20 km2 of this area also without timely access. In terms of the police stations access to low vulnerability areas, the results also show that from about 15 km2 of these areas to 3 km2 have quick access, indicates that there is no quick access to these 12 km2

Abstract

Today, dust storms affect the lives of many people around the world and cause a lot of financial and human losses. Every year, Iran is affected by dust storms caused by internal sources and external dust sources located in neighboring countries. Semnan province has several dust-producing sources due to its geographical location, that affect not only this province, but also the neighboring provinces. The purpose of this study is to investigate the dust phenomenon of Semnan province and its monthly changes in the 15-year period, between 2003 and 2017. For this purpose, meteorological stations data of the province and the aerosol optical depth of satellite product have been investigated. Also, GOCART model has been used to estimate the amount of dust emissions from this region and to determine the vertical dust flux in Semnan province. The study of average dust flux showed that the highest values of dust flux was in the southeast of Shahroud and then in the south of Shahroud, Damghan and Sorkheh. A monthly investigation showed that in all months, the average AOD in the southern half of Semnan province was higher than in the northern half. The highest levels of AOD were in May, April and June, and the highest amounts of dust flux were observed in March, June and July. Also, the prevailing wind direction was northeast and northeast, and this factor causes dust particles rising from this region and dust loading in the south of Semnan province and areas of Isfahan, Yazd and South Khorasan provinces.

Abstract

The purpose of the present study is to assess the land surface temperature in relation to landuse for the city of Tabriz using remote sensing technology and GIS. Landsat 8 satellite image was used to map the land surface temperature for the study area. Atmospheric correction was applied to the desired image using the FLAASH method and the land surface temperature was estimated using the split-window algorithm for the study area with an accuracy of 1.51 degrees. Landuse map of Tabriz city in 6 classes was obtained using the object-based approach in eCognition software with an accuracy of 90/03. The results of studying the relationship between land surface temperature and landuse indicate that agricultural lands with a temperature of 18.22 °C have the highest land surface temperature. Also, water areas (rivers) have the lowest (10.30 °C) land surface temperature, because of their radiant power close to one. The research results also indicate that the split-window algorithm provides reliable results for land surface temperature estimation that can be used in environmental studies and earth sciences.

Abstract

The phenomenon of poverty is a social, economic, cultural, and political reality that has long been one of the greatest human problems. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors affecting poverty and examine the internal relations and its leveling with an interpretive structural approach in the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of Tabriz. In this regard, based on the factors extracted from literature, a questionnaire has been developed. In this phase, 41 indicators have been selected as the most important indicators affecting poverty at Imam Khomeini Relief Committee of Tabriz city. After obtaining appropriate validity and reliability for the questionnaire, it has been distributed among the statistical sample. After distributing the questionnaire, factor analysis was used to analyze the information and reduce the variables to dimensions. The results of factor analysis showed that about 68.3% of the total variance of variables was explained by 14 factors and about 31.7% of the variance was explained by other variables that were not measured. As a result, 14 factors have been identified as the most important factors affecting poverty. These 14 factors are important in order of importance: 1- Economic; 2- Social; 3- Individual; 4- Legal; 5- Family; 6; Environment; 7; Political; 8; Management; 9; Cultural; 10- Overseas; 11. Security; 12. Scientific; 13. Organizational; 14. Geographical. Finally, the interrelationships between factors and the leveling of poverty-related factors have been examined by presenting an extended structural-comparative model (ISM).

Abstract

Women play an important role in promoting employment and improving the economic situation of society. Therefore, giving them identity and independence and providing the ground for their active participation in various economic and social affairs, especially entrepreneurial activities in urban areas is a very important factor of this great force.
The experts’ demographic features are analyzed. Then the components of entrepreneurship value chain and social sustainable development are sifted out using experts’ opinions (twenty of the best women entrepreneur of Golestan province), Fuzzy Delphi method, and De-fuzzy to find the components of intended variables. Validity and reliability of questionnaires are investigated by Cronbach’s Alpha and normal distribution of components and statistical samples are also analyzed by Kolmogorov-Smirnov and Student’s t-Test. In section one, the prioritization and ranking of dimensions and components of entrepreneurship value chain are addressed (by 198 of women entrepreneur of Golestan province) by using hierarchical analysis process method and Expertchoice software. In section two, to measure the relationships between the developing women’s entrepreneurship according to value chain and the social sustainable development, the Correlational research, the Structural equation for factor analysis test, and Smart pls2 software are used that show a statistical significant. In correlational research not only the relationship between variables are detected but also the type and rate of variables relationship are reachable. The results then are discussed. And the model of developing women’s entrepreneurship according to value chain with the approach of social sustainable development is presented. The model helps adjust the developing women’s entrepreneurship and show the strength and weakness.

Abstract

Landscapes cannot be explained only by obscure geographical frequencies that can be described by objective methods, but they are real subjective observations and experiences that can be inferred by artistic and aesthetic perception, analysis and comparison. Thus, recognizing the elements of the emergence, formation and development of any perspective can be considered as a mirror of the whole picture of human knowledge, culture and perceptions in geography. It is based on such an understanding that the present study attempts to combine qualitative content analysis techniques and soft operations based on interpretive philosophy with a qualitative approach to the question of why each geographical (urban) landscape emerges. Thus, by analyzing the content of printed resources in this field, 14 categories were extracted, and the experts answered the questions related to the role of each category by using the evaluation questionnaire. Finally, after collecting the questionnaires from 10 geography experts, with the help of Fuzzy DEMATEL technique, the existing relationships between categories were analyzed and finally, due to the defect and inability of this technique in leveling, the effective levels between categories were determined by ISM technique. In the meantime, the results indicated that the worldview category, which in the general sense includes religious and ideological concept, is considered as an independent variable of the geographical landscape system. At other levels, there is civic awareness, philosophical thought, and political thought, which serve as the basis for the geographical landscape. In this context, the perspective variables of context, governance, cultural dimensions, and social context are defined as the moderating variables of the geographical landscape system. From the set interaction of variables mentioned, such as the organization of living space, reading of living space, public and private agreement and social resilience are obtained.

Abstract

According to the fact that place identity is influenced by various social, physical, semantic, functional, and natural factors, each of these dimensions has multiple indicators with complex internal relationships; Measuring and evaluating it is a fundamental and complex issue. Therefore, the aim of this study is to "provide a combined model for measuring the identity of place in urban spaces." To achieve this goal, quantitative methods have been used. First, the expert questionnaire with a sample size of 19 people was analyzed in the form of a combination of DEMATEL model and Analytical network process, then the questionnaire of space users with a volume of 384 samples in 12 urban spaces was analyzed by TOPSIS model. The results show that despite the decline in identity in recent decades, Tehran Bazaar as the central core of Tehran's historical district still has an acceptable level, but the further away from the Bazaar, the different dimensions of social, physical, functional, natural and the semantic identity is declining. Also, from a methodological point of view, it can be said that the combined DANP-TOPSIS model is a suitable model for measuring the various dimensions of place identity in an integrated way.

Abstract

Rain water harvesting is an appropriate option for storing surface runoff for subsequent uses during periods with limited access to water. The most important step in the application of rainwater harvesting systems (RWH) is the site selection suitable areas. Therefore, by identifying suitable sites for this purpose, time and cost will be saved . In this research, multivariate regression model and GIS were used to site selection in situ (RWH) in Tajare watershed. For this purpose, layers such as crown cover, litter, rock and stones, soil, curve number, rainfall, slope and depth of field as independent variable and infiltration were considered as the dependent variable. Then, according to the maps, their values were calculated in average for each of the 27 sub-basins. Also, to investigate the relationship between these variables and weighting, each of the effective layers of multi-variable regression was used by the stepwise method The results showed that the linear multivariate regression model with an explanation coefficient of 0.993 was able to estimate the penetration factor values well In terms of grade of importance, the curve number variables with a coefficient of -2.433, depth of soil with a coefficient of 0.3488, and rubble and gravel percent with a coefficient of 0.057, were the most important, and other factors were not significant. Comparison of the map from the site selection of multivariate regression in this research with some recommended criteria of various research studies showed that the predicted classes with good in the central parts of the basin and very good in the upstream areas of the basin which in the eastern and southeastern part of the basin fit have a good overlap with the recommended areas with these criteria.

Abstract

Baths are among the public buildings whose shape and architecture have changed during different historical periods. Due to the importance of these valuable buildings. Kermanshah is one of the cities that during the historical period, especially in the Qajar period, due to its location on the path of Atbat-e-Aliat, was considered by the rulers of the time and has many textures and examples of historical baths. Therefore, the present study seeks to identify the types of historical baths in Kermanshah province with emphasis on the location. To achieve this, it is necessary to study the factors affecting the formation, location in urban, rural and neighborhood contexts, spatial geometry of Kermanshah baths. The research method in this research is a descriptive-analytical method based on field studies, analysis of the location, structure, architecture, decorations, proportions and materials of 12 samples of baths in Kermanshah province and a comparative-historical study of the samples. The results of this study show that Kermanshah province baths in terms of location are divided into 6 types: baths in the bazaar, single baths in neighborhoods, twin baths in neighborhoods, baths as an element of a complex in neighborhoods, baths in houses and baths They are divided in the rural context. The geometry of Kermanshah bath spaces is a function of the location in the city or village. Communication spaces and corridors in neighborhood and market-affiliated baths are based on the big measure, but in private baths and in-house baths and rural baths are based on the small measure. The main spaces of urban baths are decorated with limestone, but rural baths do not have limestone decorations. All the baths studied have 3 main spaces: Bine, garmkhaneh and khazineh, and the area of the garmkhaneh space is relatively larger and larger than Bine, space.

Abstract

Subsidence is an environmental phenomenon caused by the gradual subsidence or sudden subsidence of the earthchr('39')s surface. The phenomenon of subsidence in residential, industrial and agricultural areas can cause catastrophic damage. In most parts of Iran, there is a high correlation between land subsidence and the decrease of groundwater level and consequently the density of soil layers. In this study, using two time series of radar images with artificial apertures from Sentinel sensors belonging to 2014 and 2019, the amount of subsidence in Damaneh plain (Frieden city) was calculated. Wells were studied in the period 2014 to 2019, the results of the study of the correlation between land subsidence with changes in groundwater level at the level of 95% was significant. In the continuation of the research, using the logistic regression model, the subsidence trend in the study area was predicted and a subsidence probability map was prepared and created as a dependent variable for the logistic regression model. The independent variables used included altitude, slope, slope direction, geology, distance from the road, distance from the river, land use, distance from the village, groundwater level, piezometric wells. The output of the model is subsidence risk zoning map which was created in five classes. The accuracy and validation of the logistic regression model was evaluated using the system performance characteristic curve and the accuracy (0.89) was obtained. The good accuracy of the logistic regression model in producing the probability map Subsidence is in the study area. In the output of the model, it was found that the area of 1980 hectares, equivalent to 7.9%, has a very severe subsidence that has put the situation in a dangerous situation and the need for control and management to reduce this destructive effect.

In this study, the spatiotemporal variations of evapotranspiration (ET) were investigated in the southern part of the Aras River catchment. For this purpose, the ET networked data of FLDAS Noah model with horizontal resolution of 0.1 * 0.1 degree were used for a period of 38 years (2019-1982). After validating the data, the average annual ET values for the region were determined first. Then the monthly and seasonal distribution of the parameter were analyzed spatially. Subsequently, ET variations and anomalies were evaluated year to year. Also, the spatial distribution of the occurrence frequency of ET was investigated by considering the absolute thresholds of 50, 80, 100 and 120 mm for the Aras basin. The results show that the annual ET in the east of the basin is higher than the west of the basin. In the seasonal scale, spring and summer have the highest ET values, respectively. In the monthly scale, Mayو June, April and March had the highest ET values, respectively. In contrast, the autumn and winter months have the lowest average ET values. Also, the whole basin during the study period has experienced three distinct periods of ET changes that in the eastern and western parts of the basin, despite the same behavior in the second and third periods, a significant difference was observed in the first period. The results also indicate the existence of positive anomalies after 2002 in the whole basin, the highest values occurred in 2018 in the west of the basin. The study of the frequency of occurrence of absolute ET thresholds on the basin shows the high frequency of ET occurrence at all thresholds in the east of the basin. A study of nearly 4 decades of ET values in the Aras River Basin shows an increase in ET values over the last two decades over the entire basin, which can be attributed to the occurrence of global warming.

Abstract

The science of urban planning, like other sciences, has been influenced by different intellectual currents. The origins of Folding urbanism, which owes much to philosophy in rhizome, based on Leipnitz mathematics, emerged in architecture by Peter Eisenman, which today survives on an urban scale with postmodern feminist literature as anti-Oedipus and anti-Freudian. Gives. Folding urban planning can be studied in three levels of geography, landscape and city. In this research, landscape and city levels are discussed. Objective: In this research, the evolution of folding is based on Foucault genealogy, which deals with the holes of history and power relations. In the field of urban planning of these relations, the ontology of urban topology layers according to Riemannian equations and Deleuze philosophy in the works of architects such as Peter Eisenman, Zaha Hadid, Eric Owen Moss, Charles Jenks, James Wines.  The research method in this paper is descriptive-analytical with a combination of inductive and deductive. The process of this research has reached the conclusion that Folding urbanism is based on Mendelbrot fractal geometry, Lotfizadeh fuzzy logic and in Lawrence chaos atmosphere and power relations in the glory of feminism and its manifestation on urbanism are the main reasons for the formation. Urbanization is a folding. Results: Similar theories used in folding architecture, rhizome, anti-Oedipus, Mobius, hermeneutic cycle, theories have been formed that are closely related to Gestalt psychology and the phenomenological view that is hidden in the philosophy of unity in plurality. In these theories, the component is folded in its entirety. The skyline, the accesses, the views and all the architectural reserves form a whole unit. Theories related to folding urban planning such as small-scale urban carpets in urban furniture have not been successful, but in single buildings have provided the desired philosophies and have been somewhat successful, and on a large scale in the city well phenomenology, unity in plurality , Contains rhizomes, anti-Oedipus and all the issues raised within it.

Abstract

Wetland cover classification is of special importance in order to identify the type of plant species inside the wetland and also to distinguish it from the wetland margin vegetation and to study their ecosystem changes.  Due to the spectral similarity between different plant species of wetlands and plants along the wetlands and agricultural lands, this is faced with problems using multispectral data and hyperspectral data can be very useful in this regard. in this study power of hyperspectral and multispectral sensors in identifying the characteristics of the wetland and the ability of ETM + (2011), Hyperion (2011) and ALI (2011) sensors to study the characteristics of Shadegan wetland during 1390 and different spectral indices with a suitable combination of The satellite imagery bands of these sensors were compared as input to a variety of classification methods including maximum likelihood, minimum distance, neural network and support vector machine. The results showed that the support vector machine and neural network methods with closer classification accuracy of 85% in all three images show closer results to reality. The classification accuracy for all three images was at its highest for the backup vector machine method, with a total accuracy of 95.73 for the Hyperion image, 88.03 for the ALI and 89.34 for the ETM +. Therefore, the characteristics considered for the wetland, in the three images obtained from the SVM algorithm showed that showing the differentiation of wetland vegetation use from irrigated agricultural land use is more ambiguous than other wetland features. Studies have shown that this part is less recognizable in ALI and ETM + images than Hyperion images, or in some areas these parts are not separable from aquaculture land at all, while Hyperion due to having 220 bands and having a higher level of Spectral details have the ability to distinguish between the two classes.
